Désert, Atlas et Circuits des Kasbahs - 10 jours - Marrakech à Marrakech
1- Arrival To Marrakech
Reception at the airport and transfer to the hotel.
2- Marrakech Ouzoud cascades - El Ksiba
Start your day with a visit to Ouzoud Cascades. Have lunch there. Visit the
great lake of Bin Elwidane. Then come to Afourar, the small town at the top of
the Atlas Mountains. Drive through Beni Mellal towards the Berber village ( El
Ksiba) to spend the night in a mountain hotel.
3- El Ksiba - Imilchil - Amellago Gorges
This journey consists of beautiful splendid discoveries all along the Atlas
Mountains to get to Imilchil, the Berber village hung out at the high Atlas.
Have lunch there, then through the Berber villages; Agdal and Ait Hani. Finally
to Amellagou Gorges for a night under a nomadic tent.
4- Amellagou Gorges - Goulmima - Merzouga
The track towards the small village of Tadighoust leads to Goulmima to get to
the road taking to Errachidia. Drive along Ziz Valley to Erfoud: the starting
point of the trip to Erg Echebbi Dunes ( Merzouga ). Spend a night at an inn in
the desert.
5- Merzouga - Erg Chebbi - Merzouga ( The Dunes: Around and Through )
The finest thing is to watch the Sunset and Sunrise at the top of the dunes.
From there the view covers the Hamadas. Visit the village of blacks. Visit the
minerals, the oases, the fossil quarries as well as the pre-historic vestiges.
The way back to the inn is on dromedary back at round 16:00. Sleep under nomadic
tents at an oasis in the middle of the dunes.
6- Merzouga - Alnif - Todra Gorges
Visit Rissani, once a great economic centre and the oldest imperial town of the
Kingdom. Visit the Market and the beautiful Ksours. Then to Alnif. After lunch,
take the track from Alnif to Toudra gorges. Stay one night there.
7- Todgha Gorges - Nekoub - Zagoura
Visit the palm grove, Ikniouan ( a small village ). Take the track along Jbel
Saghro and get to Nekoub. Lunch "break" there. Drive along Draa Valley and get
to Zagoura for a quiet night at a hotel.
8 - Zagoura - Ait Benhaddou - Telouat
The itinerary passes by Draa Valley. Visit Kasbah Ait BenhAddou, Kasbah
Tamadakaht. Then take the track which links Telouate to Ait Benhaddou. Enjoy a
relaxing night at the generous inhabitants' of Tamadakht.
9- Telouat - Marrakech
This last journey is also fabulous. Visit Telouate in the morning, the beautiful
panoramic views at the top of Tishka mountainous passages and along the Atlas
mountains. stay at a hotel.
10- Marrakech - Marrakech
Visit Marrakech. Visit the medina (the old part).Go around its colorful markets.
Take time to watch shows in the famous square "Jamaa Al-Fna"; busy and vivacious
day and night.
