The Great Atlas and South - 10 days - Casablanca to Casablanca
1- Casablanca Afourar
This stage, being the first of the circuit, includes several beautiful panoramic
views on the large lake of Bin Elouidane and the astonishing landscapes before
arriving to Afourar, the small town where to spendthe first night.
2- Afourar Imilchil
This journey consists of some beautiful splendid panoramic views all along the
Atlas Mountains. it leads to Imilchil, a village hung at the high Atlas.
3- Imilchil Boumale-n-Dades
The trip passes by Agdal, Msemrir, and leads to Dades Gorges. The road borders
and crosses very exceptional landscapes and a succession of Ksours, Kasbahs in
the middle of small fields and Orchards.
4- Boumale-n-Dades Todra Gorges (via Saghro)
The itinerary is marvelous, the passage by "Jbel" Saghro, the volcanic rocks
lead to Toudra Gorges. It's such a great pleasure to spend a night in a so
lovely place.
5- Todra Gorges Merzouga (via Amellago)
Villages oases, Erg Chebbi Dunes. what a great mystery!
6- Merzouga Merzouga ( Around Erg Chebbi)
The perfect thing is to watch Sunset and Sunrise at the top of the dunes. There
the view covers the Hamadas. Visit the blacks' village, the minerals, fossil
quarries and prehistoric vestiges. Then Rissani, the oldest imperial town which
used to be a great economic centre.
7- Merzouga Tazarine
The track crosses several lost villages as well as immensely extended landscapes
and dark stones.
8- Tazarine Marrakech
Enjoy the several beautiful views while leaving Zagoura. These panoramic views
accompany you along and through the Atlas, passing by Tishka until you get to
Mrrakesk.
9- Marrakech Marrakech
Visit Marrakesk.Visit the medina (the old part).Go around its colorful
markets.Take time to watch shows in the famous square "Jamaa Al-Fna"; busy and
vivacious day and night.
10- Marrakech Casablanca
The last trip in this circuit.
